How Did You Two Meet?

Victoria and Kevin were both in college in Nebraska and had matched on Tinder. At first nothing really came of it, but they had gotten each others' numbers. After a couple of months they had bumped into each other on campus and Kevin invited Victoria to a semi-formal for his fraternity. They started hanging out together but were convinced that the other person wasn't interested. Finally, months later they met up at a back to school party and the rest is history.

How did he propose?

Victoria and Kevin had been talking about getting married so she had an idea of when it was happening. She also picked out her ring so she knew when he ordered it because it needed to verify her ring size. They had just moved to Oregon for Kevin's job and wanted to explore the state before they both got too busy with their jobs. One weekend they took a trip out to the coast. On the way they had to stop at Tillamook factory to check out all the yummy food. By the time they got to the coast it was pouring rain and windy. They found a small trail that lead out to the ocean. As they were walking, Victoria kept thinking to herself, "is it happening now?" but didn't want to jinx herself so she kept trying to talk herself out of it. She wanted to take a picture together so Kevin set up the camera and hit record. Sure enough he got down on one knee.

"He gave a beautiful speech that I'm pretty sure I black out during. I was so excited to just wanted to say yes already! He's my favorite person and I couldn't imagine my life without him!"

WHAT WAS IT LIKE FINDING THE ONE AT CHARLOTTE'S?

Shortly after getting engaged, Victoria and Kevin decided they wanted a smaller wedding so they didn't need to wait a whole year to have a wedding. Once they picked a date, Victoria booked her appointment for the following week so she could still order a dress in time. Since it was so short notice, her friends and family weren't able to fly out in time. She invited the Charlotte's girls to join. She said it was nice to not have to worry about trying stuff on for people in her group, she could really focus on what dress made her feel the most beautiful in. Obviously working here, Victoria had tried on some dresses before and there was one dress that she couldn't get out of her mind. She tried on a couple dresses before getting to the one she was thinking out. All the dresses prior were beautiful but didn't quite feel like her. Once she got into "Dreama" by Justin Alexander, everyone in the room knew it was the one. It gave Victoria the exact feeling she wanted out of her wedding dress.

"I couldn't picture my day with any other dress, nothing compared to it!"

Victoria said yes to Justin Alexander '88244'. Dreama is a traditional tulle ballgown with a contemporary square neckline. The illusion bodice is accented with a Chantilly lace underlay adorned with beaded lace appliqués that flow down the skirt and placed along the chapel length train.

Did you have a favorite moment during your wedding day?

Victoria said her favorite moment from the day was having the first look with Kevin. She was so excited to show him her dress that she had been trying to keep a secret from him. Which she admitted to accidently showing him a picture of it twice. He still loved it regardless. The two also read private vows for each other.

"It was a really personal and intimate moment for us before everyone came."

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Victoria's advice is to do what you want. Don't worry about other people's opinions because they will have they regardless. If they care that much than they can have their own wedding. The day is about you and your significant other so that's what the focus should be on.

Congratulations to Victoria and Kevin!!
