Lillie + Isaiah | Cannon Beach, OR

HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?

Lillie and Isaiah go way back, and we mean way, way back. The two met in kindergarten and even rode the same bus every day to elementary school.

He says he remembers seeing me on that school bus... But I don't remember him! We 're'connected in high school and the rest is history.

HOW DID HE PROPOSE?

Isaiah planned the most perfect and intimate proposal for his long-time love, Lillie. At the time, they were expecting their first child and had planned a "babymoon" before her arrival just one month away. Coincidentally, or cleverly planned by Isaiah, their friends were also in town and they all spent a wonderful day by the seaside.

Lillie recalls reminiscing with her girlfriend about their long-term relationships, saying how excited and ready she was to take the next step with Isaiah.

As if he had known, Isaiah was planning to ask for Lillie's hand that evening...

After we finished dinner, he told me he had forgotten to bring an adapter and asked if I could help search the room with him for something similar. While I was looking around, he got down on one knee out of nowhere—I thought he was hurt! It was intimate, sweet, and funny.

WHAT WAS IT LIKE FINDING THE ONE AT CHARLOTTE’S?

After visiting one bridal shop in Portland with no luck, Lillie was excited for her appointment at Charlotte's. With her ideal style in mind, she was certain she'd find her dream ball gown princess dress with us! It only took one appointment for Lillie to fall in love, and say yes to the dress!

I always knew what I wanted, but I still had to try on some different styles, just to be sure!

Lillie said yes to Justin Alexander "88093” a clean and classic ballgown with voluminous layered skirt, supportive yet delicate straps, and a plunging V neckline.

DID YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MOMENT DURING YOUR WEDDING DAY?

Lillie and Isaiah had no reservations when it came to choosing their venue. Cannon Beach is one of their favorite spots on the Oregon coast; they frequently vacationed there and got engaged there, so they felt the Surfsand Resort was the perfect place to tie the knot.

Plus the all-inclusive amenities the resort offered, such as catering and the beach-side ceremony, were definitely a bonus! The pair cherished being able to celebrate their love alongside their closest friends and family at a place that was so special to them.

ANY ADVICE FOR OUR BRIDES-TO-BE?

Planning a wedding doesn't happen overnight, and almost every bride can attest to the joy, tears and time that was spent creating the day they've always dreamed of. Stress can easily be distracting on your big day, so take your time, enjoy the small moments and go with the flow!

Remember how hard you and your planner worked, the schedules you made, the playlists you curated and simply allow yourself to be present and in the moment!

Enjoy yourself! Everything is out of your hands now and this is the day you have been waiting for!

Congratulations Lillie and Isaiah!
