Drew and Jordan scored when they found one another!

As basketball players at Willamette University, they were destined to meet. Some of their teammates introduced them and the rest is history.

A Thanksgiving trip in 2021 turned into Jordan asking Drew to marry him. He and their families devised a plan to convince Drew that her family was simply taking family photos, but Jordan turned it into the surprise of a lifetime. She said “yes” on the beach at sunset in Kona, Hawai’i.

Drew wasn’t quite sure what she was looking for when it came to her wedding dress. She had not been anywhere else, so she had a completely blank canvas to work with. As someone who likes to cover all of her bases, she wanted to try everything on to make sure she wasn’t missing out. Master Stylist, Stephanie, guided her through the journey and Drew found her wedding dress the same day.

“Stephanie was an absolute joy to work with. What really helped was her asking me how I wanted to feel on my wedding day. I hadn’t really verbalized those feelings and that made the whole experience crystal clear.”

Drew said her second most important “yes” to Signature by JA “Charlie”. It is a beautiful mikado dress that hugs the body. The clean fabric creates an elegant and timeless look that will stand the test of time.

Drew and Jordan have been impacted by so many people throughout their lives into their wedding day, so they wanted to include all of them on their big day. It was only fitting that the two get married at the waterfront property of Drew’s parents in Brookings, OR. The ceremony space was elegant, but the reception was able to give a backyard party feel, all in one space. It was large enough to fit all of their guests.

Reminiscing on her day, Drew’s favorite part was the love that she and Jordan felt, not only from each other, but from their guests.

“For us, it was truly palpable and my heart swells remembering it. The entire day was an exact representation of who we are and what matters to us. We had so much fun with our people and we wouldn’t have changed a thing.”

Her advice for other brides is to stay true to who you are. People will lovingly give their opinions, but it is essential to keep your vision for the day.

“When you get married, everyone is very excited and has their own opinions. But at the end of the day, it’s about what you and your fiancé want. As mentioned before, when it comes to picking your dress, ask yourself what words you would use to describe how you want to feel. I hope it helps you as much as it helps me.”

Congratulations, Drew and Jordan!
