Camden Kevin first met in Middle School band!  The two played the trumpet and happened to sit next to each other in class.  They became better friends in high school, but lost touch in college.  Then 3 years ago the pair reconnected and have been together ever since!  Celebrate their gorgeous garden wedding with us in today’s featured bride blog post!

 

Last summer Kevin woke Camden up early for a hike before heading out for a planned trip to Hood River to go wine tasting.

“We did a short hike at Elowah falls, and when we got to the waterfall, we walked out to the rocks and he got down on one knee.”

 

Camden said “I do” to Kevin wearing a gorgeous long sleeve dress from Lillian West, perfect for her garden wedding.  She found her gown during our annual designer takeover trunk show last fall!

“After shopping all day and not having luck, we stumbled in to the store and Marj immediately helped and listened to want I wanted.

That weekend, designer Teri Hilferty was in store to showcase the new collection and help brides find their dream dresses!

“I met the designer and she came in with THE dress and fit me (even doing my hair)!”

Camden says that planning her perfect garden wedding was stressful at times, but less so than expected.

“It was great to show my creative side. We never felt overwhelmed and wanted to keep things simple but elegant.”

 

“At the end of the day, only you will remember the small details and any things that went “wrong”, so don’t sweat the small things!”
