Adrienne + Aaron | Portland , OR

Second time’s a charm! Adrienne and Aaron matched on Bumble and two months later they matched on Tinder. Clearly the universe knew they were destined to be together.

To escape the wildfire air, Aaron took Adrienne to one of her most treasured spots - Rockaway Beach, OR. She spent her childhood summers there with her grandparents and building sand castles with her dad. The two took a long walk where she would with her grandfather and Aaron got down on one knee and proposed! This made for an even more special moment because of the memories that she had already made right on that beach.

She got the ring and her second big yes was next! Coming into Charlotte’s, she had an idea of things that she did and did not want.

“I told her nothing with spaghetti straps or bows, and look what I came up with! The PERFECT dress for me… and it had spaghetti straps and a BIG bow!”

Adrienne was paired with Lindsey, whom she had the privilege of knowing for several years. Getting to work with a friend makes these moments so special. Adrienne tried on Justin Alexander Signature ‘Madeleine’ and immediately fell in love. This dress is made of a stunning mikado that gives structure to the dress without feeling restricting. The statement bow adds a piece of interest to the dress and keeps the attention of the bride with clean fabric.

She had always dreamed of having an intimate wedding with friends and family in a big church. The Grotto was the perfect place for her and Aaron to have just that. It combines tradition, elegance, and romance for the most beautiful wedding day. They had a ceremony surrounded by all of the people they loved.

“The Grotto is such a gorgeous venue, and the chapel on site is truly breathtaking. It feels like you are in a European church.”

They kept the elegance and glamor going with their reception at the Sentinel Hotel in the Governor Ballroom. The details of this venue are very intricate and make for the ultimate elevated feel that anyone could wish for on their wedding day. Adrienne’s dress and venue were a beautiful combination that came together to create a fairy tale day.

With so many options and opinions, dress shopping can be very tedious and nerve wracking, but Adrienne’s advice is to let your stylist be your guide.

“I would have never picked out the dress that Lindsey picked out for me, or even the veil. She just knew! It was the perfect fit for my style and my vibe. She clearly was the expert, not me, and I so appreciate her input!”

When shopping for your dress, you truly never know what you will leave with!

Congratulations to aDRIENNE & Aaron!
