You’ve done it!  You’ve planned a beautiful wedding in Portland, OR and are counting down the days until you get to say: “I do.”  Having your loved ones join you from all over the world is a lot of fun, but it can also be stressful thinking about how to entertain the ones who travelled so far to see you!  Well have no fear, because we’ve compiled a list of some Must-See activities for your out of town guests!

1.Donuts

Quirky, tasty donuts are something that Portland has become famous for! What’s more fun than sending your guests on a donut tour of the city?  There are so many places to check out for good donuts, but our must-eats are:

Pip’s Original Donuts

Blue Star Donuts

Nola Donuts

2. Multnomah Falls

Just 30 minutes outside the city is the incredibly memorable Multnomah Falls waterfall!  Your guests can choose the level of interaction they want to have with the waterfall making it a great choice for any of your guests to enjoy.   Make sure to have your guests check out the visitor center at the base of the waterfall for historical information and guides to the rest of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge!

3. Washington Park

Miles of extensive trails, a Japanese Garden, the Oregon Zoo, the Portland Children’s Museum, Hoyt Arboretum and the International Rose Test Garden are all found in the expansive Washington Park!

4. Powell’s Books

Whether you’ve got book loving guests or not a trip to Powell’s Books is a must-see when visiting Portland!  This immense book store is one of the city’s most famous landmarks and is the perfect place to escape from the often rainy Portland skies.  Nestled in the Pearl district in NW Portland where your guests can also find delicious food and shopping to round out their excursion.

5. Take a Bike Ride

It’s now easier than ever to bike around the friendliest bike city around!  Your guests can rent a bike at various shops throughout Portland or grab a bright orange Nike BikeTown bike from outposts around town and experience the best way to get around town.  We recommend starting your bike ride at Waterfront Park and then make your way across one of the many bridges that connect the East and West sides of downtown.

Whether your out of town guests enjoy all or some of our Portland must-sees, this list will give you all you need to keep your entourage entertained!
