I’ve been with Charlotte’s Weddings for a total of 11 years. I started in January 2001, moved away in 2005 and came back November 2009.
My favorite part is the family oriented atmosphere that we pass on to our brides. At Charlotte’s we are one big happy family. Every time I see a brides face light up with joy and tears while turning to her mother, grandmother or friend, I know we have gained another family member! Seeing everyone happy makes this career satisfying!
Do you have a favorite moment/story from working at Charlotte’s?
I have had so many amazing memories over the years! Again, it’s truly the joy of finding someone the perfect gown and getting to know their families and friends. There is never a dull moment in the store and I love the energy.
What kind of advice would you give your brides about dress shopping?
My advice is it’s your wedding! Be yourself. It’s Your Vision. Don’t let anyone influence you otherwise.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working at Charlotte’s?
When I’m not at Charlotte’s I love the great out doors, camping, hiking, biking, and snowboarding. But, living in the great northwest the weather doesn’t allow for year round outdoor activities. On those wonderful rainy days I enjoy sewing and cuddling up with my significant other and watching a good scary movie.
