Bryttnie & Dylan

| Destination Wedding at Hacienda Encantada |

Bryttnie and Dylan planned a beautiful Mexican destination wedding.  They focused on setting goals for their day and made sure that they never lost sight of what was most important to them leading up to the big day. Wearing an amazing dress from Allure Bridals, Bryttnie was a gorgeous tropical bride!  Read on for more details about their dream destination wedding day.

How did you and your partner meet?

My husband and I met on Tinder (of course).  We went on a date about a month after finding each other and it was love at first sight!  We haven’t been apart since and now we have a beautiful life together and two super cute puppies.

What’s your proposal story?

Dylan and I were pretty untraditional when it came to the proposal.  I remember we were sitting on the couch and he told me he knew he wanted to marry me, and I knew that I wanted to marry him so about a week later we went and picked out the ring!

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

My favorite part of the wedding day was dancing with my husband, friends and family to “Sweet Caroline” which was the last song played at our wedding. It was a blast!

What did you like about working with Charlotte’s?

I had the most amazing experience dress shopping at Charlottes!  I worked with Jennifer and I could have sworn she was a mind reader.  She was patient, kind and made the day so much fun.  Initially I had picked a different dress but ended up coming back and trying on the dress that I couldn’t get my mind off of.  When I saw the dress, I fell in love with it all over again.

How was the wedding planning process?  What was your favorite part of planning?

The wedding process was stressful at times, mostly because I was planning a destination wedding that was going to be in a country I don’t live in!  However, my amazing wedding planner made the process enjoyable and I had so much fun picking out flowers and food.  My favorite part of wedding planning though was picking out songs for our wedding playlist with my husband!  Who knew we had such good taste in music?!

Do you have any advice for future brides?

My advice for future brides is to make sure you sit down with your partner before planning and write down your top three goals for the wedding both together and separately.  Try to focus on these things when planning the wedding and it will make your priorities much clearer.  Most of all, be in the moment during your wedding day.  It goes by way too fast!
