How did you and your husband meet: We met during new student orientation at Southern Oregon University while walking around campus. I had just graduated from high school and he was a transfer student from Rogue Community College. It was the first time either of us had really been away from home for the first time and we felt an instant connection.

How was your experience at Charlotte’s: I had an amazing time shopping for both my wedding dress and bridesmaid’s dresses at Charlotte’s. The customer service was top notch and made ordering the dresses very easy even though my bridesmaids lived in various places in Oregon. All of our dresses arrived in flawless condition and on time. Lindsay was amazing and full of suggestions. Every staff member I encountered was extremely friendly and eager to help which helps keep shopping fun.

What did you like most about working with Charlotte’s: Being plus-sized, I have always been worried that I’d have a hard time finding a wedding dress or feel insecure while shopping. Charlotte’s never made me feel self-conscious about my size and treated me just like any other bride. You should never settle for a wedding dress just because it fits and Charlotte’s never made me feel like I had to. They helped me find my dress of my dreams at a price I could afford.

What did you like most about your wedding?: Our wedding day was about bringing together two families together to become one. I felt that our wedding ceremony and reception really represented both of us. My husband and I planned every aspect of our wedding together to reflect who we are. The end result was the fairytale both of us had dreamed of for so long.
