10 Ways to Incorporate Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year: Greenery

According to Pantone, Greenery, their color pick of the year symbolizes “new beginnings” and “passionate pursuits”. Nothing could be more appropriate for a wedding to incorporate the color of hope and happiness. Here is a list of top 10 ways to incorporate this fresh and breezy color in your wedding:

 1. Your Invitations

Start your theme early with Greenery influenced invitations and Save-the-Dates. Go even further with the green theme by using recycled paper products or E-Invites.

2. Venue

Use Mother Nature as your backdrop for your wedding. Take advantage of the great outdoors as your venue for your wedding ceremony and reception, such as our preferred vendor, Bella Via, located in Sherwood. They incorporate the greenery of their outdoor ceremony space with their gorgeous reception area, perfect for a wedding at any point throughout the year!

3. Shoes

Give your wardrobe a little touch of green with your shoes. The adorable footwear will add the fun color without going overboard. Check out our blog from September 2016 for suggestions on where to find your perfect shoe!

4. Hair

Stick with the green theme and go natural with your hair accessories. Go for a boho flower crown or accents of greenery added throughout your hair. Check out our preferred vendor, Bella Blooms, for ideas on how to incorporate beautiful, natural greenery into your bridal hair!

5. Groom

Don’t forget to include the groom and incorporate accents of Greenery with his tie, pocket square, or even cufflinks.

6. Bridal Party

Have your bridesmaids and flower girls wear Greenery or in complimentary green shades. Check out Dessy Group, one of our great bridesmaid designers partnered with Pantone, which allows you to plan a Pantone colored theme wedding: https://dessy.com/PANTONE

7. Boutonnieres

Give the groomsmen in your party Greenery accents by using all green boutonnieres, as well as for male family members to wear throughout the wedding celebration!

8. Flowers

Keep the majority of your bouquets and arrangements green. Include popular Eucalyptus elements and leafy blooms to give your bouquet that natural feel.

9. Cake

Include leafy accents decorating your cake to create a rustic and elegant look, whether they’re real or silk arrangements. Check out our preferred vendor, Lightening Cupcakes, and see how they can make your perfect dessert!

10. Wedding Favors

Let your guests take a little bit of Greenery home with them. Wrap favors in green ribbon and paper or give away one of these cute mini-succulents.
