Events by Lisa Marie was founded in 2007 and has an experienced team of planners. Our team works together to plan and manage between 12-16 weddings a year. Currently there are four members of our team. Owner Lisa Marie was planning weddings for years even before it was a business. She believes that each of her clients’ big day should be just that, their big day and should reflect their personalities and style. We listen to your thoughts and help work with you to make it happen. We will guide you on the things you are questioning and recommend professionals that work both with your budgets and your personalities.
Often, when working on weddings we are asked if we have a preferred vendors list. The answer to that is both yes and no. Yes, we have a list of professionals that we consider “pre-qualified,” which means we have sat down and met with them, reviewed their work and professional history and given our stamp of approval to them as someone we could recommend to our clients. Does this mean we will always go with them? No, we are always happy to looking into additional professionals if you have someone in mind. We will always try to match our clients with the professional that we feel is a 100% good fit for YOU, and as our client you will always have the final say before signing a contract.
Whether you are working with Lisa Marie or Meranda, our other lead coordinator, you will always be heard. Our goal is to make sure that the items you are looking for, the style and feel you want and the atmosphere is all based on your dream vision.
So who is this team? Currently it consists of owner Lisa Marie, Meranda, who has been with Events by Lisa Marie since April of 2008, Cortney who started as an intern in July of 2012 and is now an assistant, and Emily, our newest intern. During their internship our team members go through a training program where they not only learn all the different aspects of planning and coordinating a wedding but they also meet with lots of wedding professionals so that they are able to help hand select the perfect dream team for your wedding.
