Here in Portland, we love simple, elegant, and effortless. Lately, designers have made styles with a bohemian feel—soft lace, classic design, low & open backs, flowing fit. Essense of Australia, one of our designers, has created many styles in their Spring 2016 & Fall 2016 collections that align with what Portland brides want.

Recently, Alexandra Grace Photography and Seventh Stem florists combined together to capture the beauty of one of our gowns on the stunning model, Eva.  The Essense of Australia gown style #D1981 combined with Bel Aire Bridal beaded shoulder jewelry style sh208 creates a look many brides can appreciate.

The gown itself is a sheath fit, with a uniquely patterned all-over lace to give you a classic feel. The scalloped lace hem is delicate and romantic, which flows into a short train. Many of our brides recently have asked for gowns with short, sweep trains, and style D1981 gives brides just that. The Imperial Crepe lining is super soft and has a hint of stretch, which makes this a perfect gown for popular Portland venues, the outdoors, whether it is in the summer or in the fall. And if you want some drama, look no further than that low back!

Who doesn’t love some sparkle? Alexandra Grace photography captured how adding a unique piece, such as the shoulder jewelry, can completely change a look. The shoulder jewelry can be used just for the ceremony, or add it for the reception to party the night away. Combining this elegant sparkle to a sleek design can create that Bohemian-chic look that Portland brides love!
