Katie has been working at Charlotte’s for over 2 years now and she hears this question all the time.  How do I find a bridesmaids dress that flatters all body types?  Here is what she suggests:

Even though the bride is the focal point of the day she still wants her bridesmaids to feel beautiful and comfortable.  You should have a day that you can get all of your bridesmaids together.  Go try on some dresses, all styles from strapless, v-neck, halter, short, long, etc.  Often times there is one style that looks good on everyone but sometimes you might need to choose something a little different.

Brides are starting to let their bridesmaids choose their own styles in the same color.  For example, someone who has a bigger bust might want a v-neck with straps to give more support and someone who is pear shaped might want a strapless, empire waist gown that flows away from the body.  Letting your bridesmaids feel like themselves on your wedding day will more than likely make them feel less stressed and in turn help you relax too!  Happy dress shopping!
